Thursday 27 July - 11 miles - Martin Down/Pentridge

This undulating 3 Counties walk offers stunning views, wild flowers, butterflies and historical interest. We pass through Martin Down Nature Reserve, following the ancient Bokerley Dyke, before crossing into Dorset for a coffee stop on Pentridge Hill with fantastic views all round. We follow the Hardy Trail to Pentridge village before reconnecting with the Bokerley Dyke, then enter Wiltshire to enjoy the lovely woodland of Vernditch Chase and Moody’s Gore and walk along part of the Ox Drove, before returning to Hampshire using what was an ancient Roman Road.

Please let the leader know you are coming as we may set off early if all known walkers have arrived.
