A short walk at Park Farm, Colden Common

The recent Newsletter had an article about the Forestry Commission buying Park Farm with the intention of planting a community forest. This is a short walk through the farm. There will be brief stops to describe the planting plan and the representations from the Parish Council.

The basic plan is to start at Colden Common Park at 09:45. From there we will walk through Park Farm to Hunter Park in Twyford. The coffee pod should be open and we can stand in the shade as we enjoy their excellent coffee (or ice cream) before returning by a different route.

There is one moderately steep hill with some vegetation, so long trousers are recommended.

You are invited to bring a picnic to eat at the end of the walk.
