A short walk at Park Farm, Colden Common

The recently issued Newsletter had an article about the Forestry Commission buying Park Farm with the intention of planting a community forest. This is a short walk through the farm.

The basic plan is to start at Colden Common Park at 09:15. From there we will walk through Park Farm to Hunter Park in Twyford. The coffee pod should be open and we can stand in the shade as we enjoy their excellent coffee (or ice cream) before returning by a different route. We should be back sometime between 11:30 and noon so you can be home for lunch and before it gets too hot. There are options to shorten the walk at the cost of missing out the coffee.

There is one moderately steep hill with some vegetation, so long trousers are recommended.
