Rambling by Train - Hamworthy – Poole and the RNLI

The scenic rail journey takes us from Winchester through Southampton, The New Forest, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and onto Hamworthy.

The ramble will start from Hamworthy Railway Station to the Upton Country Park (stopping at the Tea Rooms - refreshment and facilities break) before continuing through the Country Park and along the Holes Bay Path to Poole and the RNLI Headquarters. 

 Our destination is the RNLI Headquarters where we have a table booked for lunch (13.00) in The RNLI ‘Riggers Restaurant’ (the restaurant also has great views across the harbour, especially from the bar upstairs)
