New Forest 8 miles

The walk starts at The Happy Cheese pub in the New Forest where we can use their carpark.  Car registration details need to be input on their machine in the pub.  The pub is open from 9 am so we can also use their facilities.  It is a circular walk  of approximately 5 miles in the morning crossing the railway line and enjoying wooded and heathland scenery. In the afternoon, we shall cross to the other side of the road and do another circular walk of  just under three miles.  On the prewalk, we saw deer.
