Monday 3 July, 11 miles Circular from Winchester via Cheesefoot Head

A relaxed downland walk to the South East of Winchester.  Bring some sandwiches and a flask for a picnic lunch.

This will be a circular walk starting and finishing at the St Catherine's Park and Ride.

We will head East to Magdalene Down Butterfly Reserve, before heading down to the ancient parish of Chilcomb and then up to enjoy the wide views from Cheesefoot Head.  From there we will head South across Longwood Warren before heading back up towards and around St Catherine's Hill via Hazeley Down and back to the car park.

Please note that there are no facilities on this route, and you will need to bring your own packed lunch.
