Monday 10 July - 11+ miles - Itchen Abbas

This is a circular walk, not far from Winchester, starting in the beautiful village of Itchen Abbas.  The route follows well established footpaths through Kings Worthy, into and through the edge of Winchester, up to Magdalen Hill Butterfly Reserve, and returning via Avington Village to Itchen Abbas.

The walk includes wonderful vistas of the countryside around Winchester, some walking alongside the River Itchen, and also the opportunity to see wonderful butterflies "going about their business" on Magdalen Hill.
