Micheldever woods path to Itchen Abbas & Avington

I hope you can join me on my first ramble as a walk leader.  We start at Micheldever Woods car park.  We follow a footpath and have coffee break at 5 Ways.  We then follow the footpath to Itchen Abbas, turn left and follow a path in front of a vineyard.  This might be a little overgrown.  Long trousers would be recommended.  We cross the road and follow another path near to Yethington farm.  Plenty of countryside views, through a kissing gate and up the hill through another kissing gate.  Pass Avington golf course, a short walk on a country road where we will pass Avington Park, a Grade 1 listed country house that hosted King Charles ll and his mistress, Nell Gwynn.  We pick up another footpath and head to Chilland, up to Couch Green where we will break for lunch.  We then continue along the old railway line a short distance.  We then follow paths along ox drove and turn left and head up to Lone Farm.  We loop back to Micheldever Woods passing through Courtney Copse.
