Evening walk: Winchester Water Meadows and St Cross - 5 miles

We start from the main Viewpoint on St Giles Hill overlooking Winchester and shortly thereafter take in the view towards St Catherine’s Hill to which we proceed along the the Itchen Way before climbing St Catherine’s Hill itself.  After descending we head up the Plague Pits Valley and over Twyford Down before crossing the Itchen and returning to Winchester via St Cross and alongside the Watermeadows.
