Evening Walk - Cheriton Battlefields - 5 miles

On 29 March 1642 the Battle of Cheriton was a turning point in the Civil War.  This walk takes through the site of the battle where we are able to only begin to imagine the scene that day.  We walk along tracks in the main, some of which would have played a pivotal part in the battle between the cavalry and the foot soldiers.
