Encircling Medstead, 11 mile walk

This 11 mile walk starts in Chawton Park Wood and we circle around the village of Medstead. We will pass through several areas of woodland, some open downs, and farmland, and there are some expansive views on route. The walk is along good footpaths most of the time, but we also cross some fields where ground is less even and there are some narrow paths with undergrowth; and I would therefore suggest that long trousers or equivalent are worn. There are a few slopes (but nothing difficult), 5 stiles and a few stretches on quiet lanes. The ground was mud free on the recce. This walk is not suitable for dogs.

If the weather is sunny, please remember hats or suncream. There are no facilities on route. This is a picnic walk and please bring plenty to drink.
