Eastern Hampshire Downs - 8.3 miles

Please join me on an enjoyable circular walk in the Hampshire Downs starting from the ancient village of Medstead which has been inhabited since Mesolithic times. The morning route follows an easterly then northerly direction largely avoiding large open arable fields characteristic of the area before reaching the much smaller settlement of Lower Wield where there will be a break for lunch. The afternoon route is mainly southerly returning to Medstead using tracks and paths.
