A Circle Around Winchester

Join us for a 12 mile hike around the perimeter of Winchester, to explore some of the lesser known outskirts of our great city.

The walk includes a long stretch of the famous Clarendon Way, and we will enjoy several different views across the City as we circumnavigate it.  There are also some lovely riverside stretches to enjoy.

There will be a mixture of urban pavements and rural paths.  As Winchester is on the South Downs, we can't avoid the hills, but climbs will be long and steady rather than short and sharp.
