9.0 miles Cheriton

This walk from Hinton Ampner House  includes a great bluebell wood on the Hinton Ampner Estate.

Start: NT car park on the left after passing through the gate at Hinton Ampner You do not need to be a member to park there. 

Time: 10.00 start

From the car park, the walk is along the ridge as far as the meditation centre. Using quiet roads, paths and tracks the route continues into the bluebell wood before returning to the cars.  Total distance 6 miles.

As the Hinton Arms is sadly, currently closed, the cars will now need to be moved to the Flowerpots Pub in Cheriton for lunch (20 places booked). 

The afternoon is a walk around Cheriton. Total distance 3 miles

I’m waiting for the pub to let me know about their menu on the day - menu on the website gives an idea of what is usually available - and if they need a preorder.
