9 mile New Forest circular walk around Ashurst

This is a fairly easy 9 mile walk across heath and woodland in the New Forest. Starting at Deerleap car park, we head to Matley Wood, then up towards Woodlands. The morning walk is about 5.5 miles before lunch at the Happy Cheese Pub or a picnic nearby.

The afternoon takes us through some woodland and then back across the heathland to arrive back at Deerleap after about 3.5 miles.
