8.5 miles Kings Somborne

Walking from the village up to a gentle rise to meet the Clarendon Way.  Then down to cross over the River Test along the Clarendon and Monarchs Ways.  We will walk over farm land, country lanes and small sections of quiet roadway.

The terrain is relatively easy with a few short inclines and just two stiles.  On our pre walk there were two fields with grazing cattle but they seemed too busy grazing to be interested in us.

Not sure of the weather forecast for next week but if wet, you may wish to bring poles if you use them.   Also not forgetting a snack and drink for a coffee stop.
