8.5 mile Medstead Sunday Walk

The walk is a circular walk north of Medstead, in the direction of Bentworth. We set off north westerly  towards Upper Wield. Pathways are well marked and in this section , we pass vineyards and have open views across the Wield. At Upper Wield we switch direction and reach our halfway point at Bentworth. This is a good lunch stop with a Green with benches. Heading south we walk towards Wivelrod and then back to Medstead. It is a lovely walk using farm tracks, link roads through rolling countryside , woodland and hillsides.

The walk does include stiles and given the weather some muddy tracks therefore walking poles are advised.
