5.5 miles am with climb up to Walkers Hill. Along ridge with great views for a mile then gently descent to flatland far below. Not that far as only 150 metres but it looks more. Walk to Kennet and Avon Canal then back to the The Barge Inn pub for lunch. Picnic spot nearby. If also walking after lunch then flat 3.5 miles of countryside and canal towpath.
