5 miles at Chilbolton

The walk takes us across Cow Common, then along part of the Test Way to West Down, before walking along the edge of the old airfield and the satellite tracking radar installation. The return route to Chilbolton is on a quiet footpath. There are no stiles, just a few access gates. A few sections of the route have some low undergrowth and in view of the risk of tick bites leg covering is advisable.
