5 miles at Burghclere

On the recce it was dry although very green after the recent rains. If these is rain in the next few days it may be a bit muddy and poles might be advised. 

There are 3 stiles but all near the start whilst we have plenty of energy and your smiling guide will be on hand to offer assistance. There is a boardwalk to negotiate and a short plank bridge but nothing too daunting.

We pass through Earlstone Manor which has many historical connections of interest, and of course the Memorial Chapel which is well worth a visit if you have not been before.
