5 at Bosham Harbour. I am sorry to say that the walk and the lunch are now full.

Bosham is a lovely little village with a beautiful church, small picturesque streets which are mostly pedestrianised, a pub which overlooks the water, and a small quay. The walk starts at the village car park, which is a couple of minutes from the harbour, goes through the village, round the estuary, and continues on a firm path along the coast, until arriving at Furzefield Creek opposite Bosham Hoe and the hamlet of West Itchenor. As it will be low tide, there are likely to be a number of birds. Flat and no stiles! There are wide views for the whole walk, and the South Downs can be seen in the distance from about half way round. It would be possible to return by going back across country on small roads, but the harbour is lovely walking in either direction. We have booked lunch in an upstairs room called the snug, which overlooks the harbour. There is a tea room in Bosham where 4 milers could wait until lunch
