3 to 4 mile coffee walk from The Bell St Cross Winchester

Circular walks from The Bell Inn, St Cross going somewhere in the local area, which covers St Catherines Hill, St Giles Hill, The Water Meadows, Winnall Moor, White Shute Ridge, Hockley Down, Twyford Lock, Compton and beyond. Leisurely pace and pretty flat for 3-4 miles, which includes a coffee stop to finish at the pub at about 12.30. No stiles. If it’s wet we route it to avoid slippy areas and the mud. Come and try us out!

There is an option for lunch or a drink afterwards. Pre-orders are not needed. If you are not using the pub, there is 2 hour parking in Mead Road on the other side of St Cross Road. You should be back within that time. Or contact the walk leader for longer stay options. 

The Blue Star No. 1 bus to Southampton, every 12 minutes from Winchester bus station or Chandlers Ford, stops at The Bell.
