12.5 miles Hambledon, Broadhalfpenny and Old Winchester Hill

This walk takes place in the heart of some of Hampshire's finest countryside, visiting the birthplace of cricket. Setting out from the charming village of Hambledon, we pick up the Monarchs' Way , following it over the Down to the famous ground at Broadhalfpenny where we will have our morning break. We then continue on the Monarch's Way all the way to our lunch spot at Old Winchester Hill. In the afternoon we we head south following tracks and quiet country lanes past West End Down and Windmill Down and through the vineyard back to Hambledon.
