12 miles - Ham Green

This is a circular walk starting at Ham Green near Sparsholt. We start along country lanes and tracks before entering West Wood. We climb steadily through the woods to the Horse Monument at Farley Mount with its fine views to the South. That is where we will have our morning break. We then follow the Clarendon Way with its fine views to the North before returning through Parholt Wood and descending to the lovely church of St John’s Farley Chamberlayne where we will have our picnic lunch. We finish our outing by walking over Pitt Down and through Crab Wood.
