11.7 mile Owslebury and Upham
This is a circular walk covering an area to the East of Owslebury, heading initially to the North East, then to Longwood House and Upham, and returning via the Pilgrim’s Trail. There are some lovely viewpoints along the route and a rich variety of terrain. There are 6 stiles and a number of ups and downs - including 2 steep uphill sections. It would be therefore be appropriate to bring poles if you use them. On the recce, the ground was generally firm, but we may well encounter muddy sections if it rains prior. There is one field which we will bypass if conditions dictate it.
There are no facilities on route, but plenty of trees. This is a picnic walk and please bring plenty to drink.
This walk is not suitable for dogs.
