11+ Upham/Longwood House/ Preshaws

A undulating walk with lovely views starting from Upham, passing through Longwood  Estate, the Preshaws and Stephens Castle Down, using parts of the Allen King Way, South Downs Way and Monarch's Way. Hopefully we will be cheered by some early snowdrops.

There are 5 stiles and inevitably some mud.  Quite a bit of easy walking on country lanes. The route is undulating with 2 steep grassy descents and one chalky, for which poles might be useful if you use them.
