11+ Oliver’s Battery

A circular walk starting from Oliver's Battery, going through Twyford before climbing up to Cheesefoot Head. We will have a picnic lunch overlooking Winchester then walk back to the City by the South Downs Way. After 11 miles we will be in Central Winchester and there will be the option to get the bus back to Oliver's Battery or to walk the 2 miles back to the car.

Mainly good tracks with a short stretch of road walking.
