11 miles Alresford

We head out of New Alresford and on to Old Alresford alongside the River Arle and Watercress Beds and then we climb steadily along the Oxdrove Way to Nettlebed Farm stopping for a BYO refreshment on the way.  The walk continues through fields, on tracks and along lanes including sections of The Wayfarer’s Walk, the Three Castles Path and the Oxdrove Way.  At a suitable point we will stop for a BYO picnic before arriving at the hamlet of Abbotstone and making our way along fields and lanes back to Alresford.
