11+ Longparish

A delightful picnic walk in north Hampshire countryside around Longparish and the River Test. The morning walk takes us north to some woods and Deadman's Plack Monument where we will have our first stop for coffee. We then continue north and loop around Andover Down Farm and Faulkner Down Farm before heading south and crossing the  disused railway for a picnic lunch. The afternoon walk takes us to far end of Longparish to cross the River Test.  We then return by various footpaths to the car. I am hoping the snowdrops will be out. 

There is only one stile and the paths are reasonably dry. A few muddy patches but that is to be expected in January. There are two short road section but traffic around Longparish is light.
