A wonderful circular walk in the high, remote and heavily wooded chalk downland plateau of the Hampshire - Berkshire border.

Lying within the Wessex Downs Natural landscape (AONB), the area is characterised by steep escarpments, deep dry valleys (coombes) and a mosaic of ancient woodland and open, large scale arable farmland.
